Thank you for taking the time to learn about the woman behind the camera! Unexpectedly, I fell in-love with photography when I was in my senior year in high school. During that time, I joined the yearbook club where I volunteered to be the photographer. It was from this that I discovered my creative side and passion for the visual arts. Though I had grown to establish a career in education, I realized that photography still held a special place in my heart and that I would seriously pursue it.

In the start of my new journey, I experimented with a variety of different styles of photography. This helped tremendously with developing my skillset but something else amazing happened as a result! It was in this experiment that I discovered my niche! With 8 years of experience in early childhood education and as a preschool teacher, it felt as if I was destined to excel in maternity and newborn photography. Years of experience working with children contributed to my effortless and second nature approach to this particular type of photography. It is safe to say that after testing out my skills with new born models, I discovered my true purpose.
